These are photos my husband took while we witnessed the eclipse from our deck. It was cold, the snow is still deep on the ground. We bundled the kids up and even the dog came to watch the 'cosmic ballet.' Magical!

How on earth (pun not intended!) did you manage to get such cool photos? Did you get some kind of really cool new camera? I tried and only go blackness!
We do have a fancy camera, Jeremy managed to figure out the complicated settings. It involved a long exposure (it was difficult because we don't have a tripod, so any movement makes it a blurry mess). I tried and mine were rubbish!
